Grass Identification Lessons

In preparation for my workshops, I ask students to either learn or review the terms used for grass morphology, the body parts, so to speak.

The study material is organized into three sections: vegetative (ligules, blades, culms, stolons and rhizomes) and reproductive parts. The reproductive structures have three pages: spikelets, florets and inflorescences. Use the tabs above to navigate to the different sections.
